Thus, the video remained on air for five hours, according to the “New York Times”.

With that, YouTube confirmed that it took down the video on Wednesday morning because the images violated the site’s policy. The channel of the man accused of the crime has been deleted.

The video platform told the newspaper that it is monitoring new uploads so that the images do not appear again.

As a result, the accused man was arrested on Tuesday. Police say he is the one who appears in the video.

According to the Associated Press (AP) news agency, the man had been publishing texts attacking the government and defending violence for some years.

In August 2020, he published a pamphlet in which he tried to argue that people born after 1991 (the year he himself was born) should make a bloody revolution.

Furthermore, according to the AP, the man also complained a lot about a legal process for a dismissal that he lost and encouraged people to kill members of their own families and public employees.

In the video he published after his father’s murder, he stated that the victim had been a federal government employee for more than 20 years and called him a traitor to the country.

He still gave speeches with conspiracy theories about immigration, tax policy, urban crime and the war in Ukraine.
